Pencil it in, excuse the pun

I tried this jersey pencil skirt on in Sportsgirl the other day, and decided it wasn't quite perfect enough for $60, so instead my mission is to try and make my own for much less! I wasn't completely happy with the fit if it either, maybe a thicker fabric would be better... I have a bit of brainstorming to do, but I found this Topshop skirt with the massive zipper up the back inspirational. Hopefully it doesn't all fail as miserably as my attempt to cook pizza did earlier tonight, after getting burnt with hot oil and frying the pizza to a crisp, I have decided to stick to sewing! My rich husband I will have one day will have to pay someone to cook the meals for me!!
