The races are such an awesome excuse to dress up, and my first races as an 18 year old means extra fun, so I'm going to make the most of it!! These are some inspiration for the hat/fascinator I shall attempt to create! I looked in all the shops and I am way too broke to afford anything stunning, so I'm opting for DIY yet again, I did it last year with great success so hopefully I can pull it off again!

Heaven

Thanks to Shop magazine I have discovered this amazing and so cheap swimwear label!! It's Heaven Swimwear and these are the sets I can't decide between for summer!! eep :) it's just too exciting!!

Pencil it in, excuse the pun

I tried this jersey pencil skirt on in Sportsgirl the other day, and decided it wasn't quite perfect enough for $60, so instead my mission is to try and make my own for much less! I wasn't completely happy with the fit if it either, maybe a thicker fabric would be better... I have a bit of brainstorming to do, but I found this Topshop skirt with the massive zipper up the back inspirational. Hopefully it doesn't all fail as miserably as my attempt to cook pizza did earlier tonight, after getting burnt with hot oil and frying the pizza to a crisp, I have decided to stick to sewing! My rich husband I will have one day will have to pay someone to cook the meals for me!!

birthday shopping

Just a little outing with my sister to get mums birthday present!! We got her a gorgeous clock and some statement necklaces, which I know she will love! I will post some pics when we give them to her tomorrow!!

Childhood dreaming

I feel a bit little girl in this dress but by the end of the day I had warmed up to it. Just a relaxing day in Melbourne and a night out at the Hawthorne (in a different outfit, which I don't have photos of). It was an alright night out, I was forced to improvise my outfit as in a rush I threw a collection of mismatched clothes into my bag, I wore a tight black skirt I coincidently purchased at southern cross on my way to Glenferrie, with a loose flowing black lace top, belted at the waist... Bit more 'Kardashian' than I usually go but it was my only option!

Holidays :)

Its finally these holidays i have been looking forward to, and I'm bored... I can't be bothered doing anything about it though, year 12 has ruined me!!
